When celebrity attorney Roy Black and Dolphin superstar Ricky Williams call, people show up. An invitation only crowd of more than 250 got a chance to help two worthy children’s causes at Cloisters, a gated community of waterfront, luxury villas in Coconut Grove. Black, wife Lea Black and Williams, teamed up to benefit Bay Point Schools and RunRickyRun Foundation, which focuses on keeping kids in school.

The silent auction culminated with a $1,400 bid on a $5,000 Doris Ramos painting of Williams, which he then autographed. Also there: WTVJ-NBC 6’s new talk show host Rick Sanchez, with oldest son Ricky; sports attorney Don West Jr.; former World Fuel Services CEO Jerry Blair and wife Nancy; interior designer Pam Joyner; Rob Socol, treasurer of RunRickyRun; Dr. Victor Padilla Jr.; attorney J.J. Wheeler and real estate developer Dale Showell.
