ABOUT BAY POINT SCHOOLS

Guided by the belief that a positive environment can save a misguided child, Dr. Mary Louise Cole opened ICARE Bay Point Schools as a rehabilitation and learning facility for male juvenile delinquents in Miami-Dade County in 1995. With the help of generous donations, the school operates like an elite boarding school focusing on four growth areas: academics, athletics, socialization and vocations. The programs are based on positive peer pressure, strict discipline and incentive-based rewards. The philosophy has been an overwhelming success as more than 90% of the students have gone on to finish high school and obtain employment in a variety of vocational occupations. Others successfully have obtain college degrees and pursue professional careers.
