Super Lawyers Advisory Board

Super Lawyers is pleased to announce its Board of Advisors, composed of attorneys who embody excellence in practice. The board, which will provide counsel, feedback, and editorial ideas, includes lawyers from across the country and of varied firm sizes, who have consistently appeared at the top of the Super Lawyers lists.

Advisors include, among others, Gary Naftalis, who defended Disney CEO Michael Eisner and Kenneth Langone, former chair of the New York Stock Exchange Compensation Committee; employment attorney Nancy Shilepsky, who is a champion of the interests of individuals; Carter Phillips, Managing Partner of Sidley Austin LLP, who has appeared 66 times before the United States Supreme Court; criminal defense attorneys Roy Black, whose clients include Peter Max and Rush Limbaugh, and solo Joe Friedberg who has represented police officers and professional athletes; and Mark Lanier, who won a stunning $253.5 million award in the nation’s first Vioxx trial.

“Super Lawyers does a great service for both the legal community and the public. It is an honor to help further this important work,” said Lanier about his participation on the Board of Advisors.
